The perfect position of the implant is crucial for lasting treatment success. Not only sufficient bone substance is important for this. When positioning the implant, care must be taken not to damage any roots or nerves. In addition, the depth and alignment of the implant must be exactly right so that the dental prosthesis - the crown, bridge or denture - can later be precisely fitted.
Important information is often not visible on conventional X-rays. Computer-assisted, three-dimensional implant planning provides a remedy. The necessary distance to sensitive nerves and the optimal implant depth are precisely calculated in computer-assisted 3D planning. Software enables three-dimensional planning on screen and offers the best conditions for placing the implant more safely and accurately. This is done via templates manufactured on the basis of individual 3D planning.
Thanks to 3D planning, the aesthetics can also be precisely pre-planned before the implants are placed.
