Misalignments
Misalignments can lead to muscle tension, teeth grinding or teeth clenching and even cause damage to the teeth, the temporomandibular joint and the masticatory muscles. Tooth positioning can also be optimised in adulthood. It can be regulated with fixed braces or removable splints, so-called aligners.
For larger interventions, a fixed brace is preferred. Brackets made of ceramic or sapphire are pleasantly smooth and easier to care for. They are modelled round and are characterised by high wearing comfort. Their high light transparency conveys a tooth-coloured appearance.
Unlike plastic brackets, these materials do not discolour.
Braces attached on the inside (lingual technique) enable a generally invisible correction of misalignments.

- Brackets aus Keramik oder Saphir sind zahnfarben, glatt und verfärben sich nicht.
- Die Lingualtechnik ermöglicht eine von außen unsichtbare Korrektur der Zahnstellung.
