Modern dentistry offers a consistent and effective amalgam restoration.
Older and extensive amalgam restorations can be replaced with biocompatible, high-quality materials.
In the visible area, tooth-coloured ceramic is a preferred material. Alternative filling materials include composites or gold.

To reduce the risk of mercury absorption through mucous membranes or breathing, we work with effective suction and mechanical barriers between the tooth and oral mucosa when removing old amalgam restorations, using the so-called rubber dam technique.
